"Dear Friends, ... "
I am putting together an artwork update for the site. At the moment I am deciding which of the current online pieces will be staying with the site and which, of the recently completed (2009) artwork, will be uploaded and posted online. For an artist, these are very hard decisions. In the meantime, take a look through the galleries because they will be (somewhat) changed out in a month or two.
A note about the recent show and the artwork (pictured below): "The Force that through the green fuse drives the flower" won a Blue Dot Award at the Art Students League exhibit (January 11 - 16, 2010). This new, very colorful and vivid work, demonstrates the next level of my integration of line with form, the purpose of which is to convey the dynamism of linear movement generated by a center of energy.
